I'm an Auntie

Hooray, I am finally an Auntie!! Camille had her little guy yesterday afternoon. He's a cutie and I can't wait to get my lips on his little cheeks! Congrats, Camille and Hector!

Photography class

Our ward has been hosting a photography class, with a fabulous photographer as the teacher. I have learned so much. Here are a few pictures I have taken with my new skills.

These three photos are from our outdoor portrait class. I love the one of Brinley.

Our first assignment was to take a self-portrait using the self-timer. This was the hardest assignment yet! I decided it is really hard to take a picture of yourself that you actually like. This is the best one I got. It reminds me a bit of the Senior pictures I took at Bernart and Williams (anyone remember the fake brick wall with the green plants?)

Dance Class

So Brin is finally in dance class. She was so excited to be a big girl "like Allie."

A trip to Brown County

Our family went down to Brown County this last weekend. I just love this family picture. Brin's face is so her!

Miss Allie starts Kindergarten

Allie is officially a Kindergartener!! We started the day a little rough... she woke up at 6:15AM because she was so excited (she has afternoon kindy.) As the day wore on and about fifty million "when is school going to start?" we were on our way. Dad came home to take her to school with us and it was quite the ride. We pulled up to the school, and we saw a field of yellow shirts (she was color coded as a kindergartener so she wouldn't get lost.) She hopped out of the car and took off.... almost forgetting to give me a hug.

Allie rode the bus home from school and Dad came home to see her get off. The bus dropped her off ride in front of our house. She had the biggest grin on her face! I think the first day was a huge SUCCESS!!

Now what am I going to do with this one? She is so bored without her big sister!

Granddad is HERE!

We are so happy to have Granddad here to visit! The girls just can't get enough of him, and we have found Allie a few times just wrapping her arms around him. We've missed him.

Lake Michigan

Yes we are alive! We have been very busy the last few weeks, but it is finally starting to settle down.

For my birthday this year we went up to Lake Michigan to see my cousin Lori and her cute family. We had a blast. The lake was clean and absolutely beautiful. The girls had so much fun playing in the water and building sandcastles. So did Justin! We met up with Lori, Zach and their kids and they showed us some of the local hangouts. The kids got along great and Allie can't wait to see them again. Neither can the rest of us!

More Claire

Baby Claire is here!

Baby Claire Marie made her debut on Monday night at 8:30pm. She weighed 7 lbs 6 oz and was 20 and 1/2 inches long. The girls are in heaven and are such good helpers. We are so lucky to have this beautiful little girl come to our home!

Ice Skating

We went Ice Skating a few weeks back with Justin's Orthodontics office. The girls had a blast! Allie picked it up really quickly and before we knew it she was dragging Justin around the rink. I wasn't able to skate because of the huge watermelon attached to my stomach, but watching was just as fun. We also had a special visitor that night as well. Our good friend Del from Arizona came to visit.... finally after 2 years! The girls warmed up to him right away and we hope he comes back soon!
