Inspire me please!

So here are some pictures of my new house. I need some advice on how to position my stuff on the fireplace mantel. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Brinley's new Talent

Conversation with Allie

Allie is turning into quite a little ham. I thought I would share a little conversation that we had in the car.
Allie: "Mom, where are we going?"

Me: "We are going to the store."

Allie: " Oh, Okay. Mom, where is Max?" (Max is Allie's new friend)

Me: "Max is at home with his mom."

Allie: "Mom, I think Max is kind of a handsome boy."

Me: " Really?"

Allie: "Ya Mom, I really like Max, he's my favorite boy, not my boyfriend, just my favorite boy."

Ya she is boy crazy already. I think we are in for some trouble!

Major Accomplishments!

So we have been busy the last few days. We ripped out what was left of our old flower bed and have put in some new flowers. It may not be a big accomplishment for some, but for me and my girls it was huge. Here are some pictures of what we have done.

Too Cute

These pictures were just too cute to not blog. The girls were getting ready to go to the pool when Brinley decided to put Allie's shorts on her head like a hat. They thought it was hilarious. Brinley is starting to have the funniest personality.

You're a good cooker Mom

So yesterday I was making pizza and Allie turns to me and says "You're a good cooker Mom, you're like Rachel Ray." Ahh thanks Allie. Then she says, "Can you teach me to be a good cooker too?" So needless to say I took the opportunity and this was the results.

Here's how it all started!

Working Hard.

Looking Cool!

Tasting the goods

The finished PIZZA!
Hope you like dried Italian seasoning! Isn't she the best little cooker you've ever seen? (Rachel Ray would be proud.)

Man it's hot out here!

We are slowly getting used to the humidity of the Midwest. It is so nice in the mornings, but by the afternoon we are hot as can be. These pictures of Brinley sum up how we feel most afternoons!

Happy 4th of July!

Yes we are alive!!! We are really enjoying our new home and our new life in Fishers, Indiana. We have a great neighborhood and for the fourth they sponsored a "parade." Our parade consisted of walking around the center circle once... in the 70% humidity.... it was enough! It was fun though to decorate our wagon and have a chance to invite some new friends to come. We spent the rest of the evening eating hamburgers and enjoying the company of our new friends! Happy Birthday America!!
